ecogarden was established in 2006 by qualified horticulturist Sam Sproal. Drawing upon a deep connection with the natural environment, studies in sustainable development and professional skills in landscaping, Sam creates sustainable designs that have made ecogarden the 'go to' landscaping firm for clients wanting to blend great landscaping with little impact on the environment.Apart from landscaping, ecogarden also offers a comprehensive lawn and garden maintenance service. ecogarden is particularly experienced in managing the lawn and garden maintenance requirements of holiday rental/accommodation properties, ensuring that your property is consistently looking its best for your clientele.> the ecogarden philosophyecogarden is committed to environmentally responsible and sustainable landscaping, and as such we always endeavour to:- use recycled, reclaimed, plantation and sustainably grown timbers- minimise the use of materials which are energy intensive in their production or supply chain- eliminate products that do not breakdown and impact negatively on the environment - incorporate local indigenous vegetation, providing food and a habitable resource for native fauna- reduce water use by designing gardens that require natural rainfall only- encourage the installation of production area's within the landscape, ie; vegetable gardens, fruit trees.
